    Victoria Peak

Named after Queen Victoria, Victoria Peak is Hong Kong’s highest point. In colonial times, Victoria Peak was the most prestigious district, attracting wealthy residents with its clean air. Today, this part of the city beckons residents and tourists alike with its gorgeous views.

There is an observation deck at the top of the Peak. To get there, tourists have to take a ride on the Peak Tram, the funicular. But it is better to come here around 5 pm to be able to be drawn away by all the beauty in daylight and at night.

    Po Lin Monastery

This tourist attraction will surprise you. The abode for Buddhist sermons was founded by an ordinary layman. So that numerous parishioners could listen to them, a temple was erected, to which over the years they brought statuettes of Buddha. Today there are more than 13 thousand of them, and it is a very unusual sight. At first glance, all the statuettes are the same, but if you look closely, it turns out that you are surrounded by faces with all kinds of emotions. The monastery dates back to 1906 and remains one of the most iconic Hong Kong Buddhist monasteries.

    Tian Tan Buddha

Standing 34 meters tall and weighing over 250 tons, the Tian Tan Buddha, or “Big Buddha”, is the largest Buddha figure in all of Asia. You can find it on Lantau Island. To get to it, you will have to climb 268 steps. But you will be able to admire not only the sculpture but also the nearby active Po Lin Monastery. “The Big Buddha” was built in 1993 and is a symbol of harmony between nature and humans.

    Tai O Fishing Village

Did you know Hong Kong has its own “Little Venice”? Most of the buildings here are on the water. The residents travel by boat. This is where you can feel the true flavor of old Hong Kong and its traditional culture. In Tai O you can always watch the fishermen and participate in the process, buy fresh fish, and try dishes from it. And if you’re lucky, you can also spot rare white dolphins.

    Hong Kong Park

Hong Kong Park is a green oasis amidst the stone jungle. The park has a lot of greenery and water – man-made streams, waterfalls, and interesting landscape compositions. In addition, a lot of exotic birds help to create a wonderful atmosphere of peace and give everyone a chance to relax from the hustle and bustle of the metropolis.

    Lan Kwai Fong

If you are going to thoroughly explore the cuisine of Hong Kong, then you should go to the Lan Kwai Fong neighborhood. There are about 100 restaurants and bars there, offering treats and drinks to suit all tastes and wallets. The area is always crowded as workers from the central districts flock here to relax after a hard day’s work.

    Hong Kong Disneyland

A dream not only for children but also for adults. Here you will find a huge number of favorite heroes, and exciting attractions, among which a new themed attraction dedicated to the heroes of Marvel. The park consists of 7 themed lands to enjoy. Better explore it by yourself.

    Temple Street Market

There is a lot to see in Hong Kong, even when night falls. One of the most popular places at this time is the night market. Here you can buy souvenirs, antiques, clothes and bags, tea, and electronics, and ask fortune tellers for predictions.

    Avenue Of Stars

Not only Venice: Hong Kong has its own Avenue of Stars! It is located on the pedestrian promenade and stretches for almost half a kilometer. There are figures of famous actors and showbiz stars, and underfoot are stars on which famous people have left their handprints.

Whether you are a history enthusiast or a fan of soul-soothing retreats, Hong Kong has its all!
